Garofalo’s Revealing Assessment of the Tea Parties

Posted in Tea Party on April 20th, 2009 by John H – 2 Comments

Janeane Garofalo appeared on Countdown with Keith Olbermann to provide her perspective on the Tea Parties that occurred across the nation on April 15, 2009.

Finally a clear and honest opinion from the Socielites!  While some of the media elite desperately cling to the hope that if they cram their gratuitous tea-bagging shtick down the public’s throat long enough, people will become more receptive to their other debasing ideas. Garofalo’s reaction, on the other hand, is uncensored yet crystallized.  Garofalo has never been a funny “ha-ha” kind of gal, she’s never been one for telling jokes… that’s just not her strong suit.  Garofalo gives her raw perspective on issues and either you get it or you don’t.

Clearly Olbermann gets her.  I mean he doesn’t even challenge her once.  Frankly, it’s as though he invited Garofalo onto Countdown just to commiserate over the Tea Parties and its participants.  Why?  The media elite have been trivializing these Tea Parties for weeks now.  Why still dwell on the inconsequential now that they are over?  Because they are scared to death.

The Socielites didn’t create this powerful movement… they didn’t control the people and they didn’t control the message.  This wasn’t a staged protest organized and funded by the usual suspects.  This wasn’t an opportunity to express the typical liberal talking points.  The idea that regular Americans found a common bond stronger than geography, socio-economic class, gender, race, or political affiliation is frightening to a group that relies on pitting Americans against one another along these very lines.  The fact that over 250,000 red, white, and blue Americans across the nation said enough is enough with giving up their rights and money to fund another socialist amusement park destined to fail like the rest is antithetical to their very core.

So Garofalo’s reaction is completely rational for a group that has finally secured its hands around the neck of America and is now threatened by a counter-movement that defies political party.  However, unable or unwilling to accept this “game-changer” she has nothing to offer but the same irrational liberal arguments.  Her interview is what, 5 minutes long?  In that short time she manages to tie-in the right-wing conspiracy, anti-government sentiment, immigration, a dumbed-down segment of society prone to disinformation and violence, and mental disorder all wrapped within the context of racism.  Some Socielites might try to distance themselves from Garofalo’s honesty but notice that they don’t denounce it either.  This is what they believe, pure and simple.

Make no mistake, the Socielites are afraid of the American people but what they will do out of their own fear has me scared.  For the past several years it was easy to ignore the shouting on the left but now they actually control the executive and legislative branches of our government.  So when elites who already look down upon the masses start feeling threatened by these ignoble savages, think what would you do if you saw an ant at your picnic.  Listen to Garofalo’s perspective again and ask yourself if it sounds like Homeland Security’s recent “right-wing extremism” assessment.

Rasmussen’s Capitalism vs. Socialism Poll: Do Americans Even Understand the Question

Posted in Public Opinion on April 9th, 2009 by John H – Be the first to comment

In a recent telephone survey, Rasmussen asked whether people thought capitalism or socialism was better and only 53% of adults responded capitalism was better.

Only 53%, are you serious!?  Who is Rasmussen calling?  How can just 53% favor capitalism while only 14% believe the government would do a better job at running the auto or even less believe it would be good at running the financial firms?

The text messages are quite clear, “US R SSINF.”

Obama in Strasbourg: The Love Affair Continues…

Posted in Barack Obama on April 5th, 2009 by John H – 2 Comments

Much like Prime Minister Gordon Brown, the crowd that gathered in Strasbourg, France to hear Obama was as giddy as an infatuated school girl.

If the leaders of France and Germany were happy to have a new partner across the Atlantic, some of the citizens of the two countries seemed downright giddy about Obama.

Or at least the ones who took the time to come hear him speak in a bit of Iowa politics on the Rhine.

The cameras, screaming fans and jockeying for good seats were all present, but Stevie Wonder was swapped for Sousa and the accents sounded different at this first overseas town hall meeting.

A group of high school girls who made the trip down from nearby Heidelberg, Germany, to see Obama were jumping up and down and giggling after shaking his hand.

Asked if he met their expectation, they belted out in unison: “Ja!”

Linda Strecker, one of the students, said: “He’s perfect in comparison to Bush.”

A French political science student studying in Strasbourg sounded a lot like the American counterparts she studied with in a study abroad program in Louisiana last year.

“We know he’s not going to change everything, but for the new generation it’s something big: hope,” said Morgan Studele.

Obama is Europe’s new step dad.  To help smooth over any rough patches, he’s willing to say anything to ingratiate himself with his adoptive children.  Pumping up their lack of character while diminishing his own children’s’ if it scores him more brownie points.  “No, you guys are the bestest kids ever!  Honest… I wouldn’t just say that.  I only wish my own children were as well meaning and thoughtful as you.  Speaking of my kids… I know you both have had some… disputes.  Sometimes they can seem arrogant, dismissive, and even derisive but deep down they’re not as bad as you think.  I believe if we just put the past behind us and work together, well gee, I think we’ll be okay.  Group hug!”

Dear lord, we used to think Europeans were somewhat brighter with all that old culture they keep reminding us they possess.  Clearly they are not.  And, guess what… they’re anti-American.  News flash… right?

You can go ahead and blame Bush all you like but he isn’t responsible for their resentment of America.  It’s a much deeper self-inflicted scar they bear.  Bush only reminded them of what they are not… leaders.  Bush didn’t coddle Europe, he didn’t stroke their egos, or pretend they could lead a war on terror.  He called out what was and is an obvious threat facing western civilization and issued a call to action.  What did Europe do?  What it always does… nothing but make excuses.  It’s never lead the world on anything.  Resolving it’s own world wars…nope.  Cleaning up the mess it started in Vietnam… where?  Confronting the communist threat right on its own doorstep… we liked the wall, it served as an focus for our outrage.  Ending the genocide in Bosnia… they’re not even Europeans really.  Displaying a reasonable reaction when attacked by terrorists in Spain and the U.K…. it’s the American’s fault!  The only thing Europe leads the world in is techno music and advancing its own demise.

Europe gave up on itself a long time ago and now time has caught up with Europe.  In a few generations there won’t even be a Europe as we know it so who cares what they think.  Putting ideological debates aside, let the facts speak for themselves.  Europe’s marriage rate is at an all-time low and its abortion rate at an all-time high.  Even counting the large influx of (illegal) immigrants, Europe’s birth rate will not be able to keep pace with its aging population.  Europe is dying and their opinion counts for nothing.

Frankly, I don’t care about Europe or how worked up Europeans get when Obama addresses them because they are irrelevant.   However I do care about America and the direction it is headed.  Despite the economic crisis, we still have the strongest economy in the world, the most powerful military in the world, the best health care system in the world, and the most charitable people in the world.  However with its every announcement, the Obama administration openly states its plans for bigger government, a marginalized military, a substandard, nationalized health care system, and discouragement of charity.  Why would anyone in their right mind freely undermine these accomplishments and replace it with a failed European socialist model?  That’s an easy one -  control.  But more importantly, ask why are Americans passively accepting this “cultural genocide” as inevitable?  Have we lost our minds and our will?

Maxine Waters Advocates Socalism… Er, Rather, Taking Over

Posted in Maxine Waters on March 15th, 2009 by John H – 3 Comments

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) is currently defending her actions last fall in arranging a meeting between the Treasury Department and her husband’s bank, OneUnited Bank, which received a $12 million bailout with our tax dollars.

Waters’s husband, Sidney Williams, “until” recently sat on OneUnited’s board of directors and owned at least $500,000 worth of company stock.

Waters argues that her actions benefited all minorities and businesses across the nation.

Clearly Rep. Waters has no difficulty, well some difficulty, saying she’ll take anything she wants to help the “little guy.”
