Axelrod Considers Tea Party Movement Unhealthy

Sunday on De-”Face the Nation”, Senior White House advisor David Axelrod suggested that the “Tea Party” movement is an unhealthy reaction.

You can see just how unraveled these Socielites are becoming… Axelrod so wants to say what’s really on his mind like Janeane Garofalo but manages to keep it in check. I imagine his inner voice is screaming, “You ungrateful racist rednecks!  Obama is letting you keep an extra $27 of your own pay a month this tax year which is more than you deserve!  You should all be brought up on charges of sedition!”

Janet Napolitano Regrets If Right-Wing Extremists Are Offended But Not Apologetic

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano appeared on numerous networks to discuss border security in advance of Obama’s meeting with Mexican President Felipe Calderon.

Some of the networks were a little more willing than others to broach the subject of the recent Department of Homeland Security assessment of “right-wing extremists.”

As if shocked by the absurdity, or perhaps audacity, of some claims that the DHS should apologize to veterans for assessing them as prime candidates for “right-wing extremism”, Janet Napolitano’s defense stings a tad like “some of our best friends are veterans.”  Furthermore, she cites her personal experience as U.S. attorney for Arizona during which time Timothy McVeigh bombed the Murrah Building in Oklahoma as if it were clear, unbiased support for the assessment.

However, in response to the footnote definition of “right-wing extremism”, Janet Napolitano does conceded that she would have rewritten it in the “wordsmithing, Washingtonese” tradition that goes on after-the-fact.

That sounds a little like code for burying it further in the document to me.

Homeland Security Warns Radical Right-Wing Extremists May Just be You

Posted in Barack Obama on April 14th, 2009 by John H – 3 Comments

The Department of Homeland Security is warning law enforcement that recent news is helping “right-wing extremist groups” recruit new members.

More important than wondering if that recent news includes DHS not enforcing immigration laws so that the Census Bureau, ACORN, and La Raza can redistrict the country or Obama granting 12 million illegals amnesty, is what does DHS consider to be right-wing extremists.

Apparently DHS has a pretty broad definition.

The report from DHS’ Office of Intelligence and Analysis defines right-wing extremism in the U.S. as “divided into those groups, movements and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups) and those that are mainly anti-government, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.”

So a group or individual who opposes abortion, illegal immigration, and unconstitutional federal power grabs will now be considered  “right-wing terrorists?”

Hopefully, the Tea Parties won’t have more to worry about tomorrow than just crazy leftists.  Wait… I guess it would be the same concern just backed by a federal abuse of authority.
