Speaking to top executives of the Business Roundtable, Obama said Americans shouldn’t be whipsawed by bursts of either bad or good news.  He added further:

“Things two years ago were not as good as we thought because there were a lot of underlying weaknesses in the economy. They’re not as bad as we think they are now.”

Now that’s a case of the pot calling the kettle black if I ever heard it!

Just several weeks ago, Obama was calling this the greatest economic crisis since “the” Great Depression and mandated the American people support a roughly $800 billion stimulus package before economic recovery is beyond our reach.  The greatest single government expenditure in U.S. history burdening future generations with over a $1 trillion in debt was a case of Obama keeping a level head?

Obama making a decision, $800 billion.  Obama making a wise decision… priceless.
